With heartfelt lyrics, powerhouse vocals, and an unshakable drive, 16-year-old singer-
songwriter Liv Hatfield is carving her own path in today’s modern country scene. Drawing from real-life experiences and a deep faith that fuels her creativity, Liv’s music resonates with listeners of all ages through honesty, hope, and authenticity.

In 2024, Liv released her debut EP - Sky’s The Limit, a six-song collection featuring singles When I Fly, Familiar Stranger, Yet, Unbreak a Heart, Not For You, and Illogically. Each track showcases her ability to blend heartfelt country storytelling with a fresh, contemporary sound that reflects both strength and vulnerability — a style that’s unmistakably her own.

A natural performer, Liv has already built an impressive live résumé. She’s taken the stage two years in a row at the Sugar Grove Corn Boil, performed at the 615 Live Event sponsored by Brickshore Media and hosted by Center Stage Magazine at the Hard Rock Café during CMA Fest, and continues to perform across Illinois, sharing her music with hometown audiences who have supported her from the start.

Currently, Liv is back in the writing room, working on new material and plans to return to the studio in the summer — with new releases on the horizon.

Hailing from Sugar Grove, Illinois, Liv’s journey into music began after overcoming a serious medical condition as a child that once left her unable to speak. Through faith, determination, and therapy, she not only found her voice but turned it into her purpose. By age nine, she was taking voice lessons and learning guitar, piano, and ukulele.

Since then, Liv has shared the stage with Illinois country artist Annie Vander, who became both a mentor and co-writer, helping guide her growth as an artist and songwriter.

Off stage, Liv balances school life, competitive volleyball, and spending time with friends, family, and her four dogs — Finley, Edison, Ruby, and Lola.

She’s already planning her next chapter: after high school, she hopes to attend Belmont University in Nashville, where she’ll continue studying, performing, and chasing her dream.
“I want to make music that inspires people — songs that remind them they’re not alone,” Liv says. “Every challenge I’ve faced has led me right here, and I’m grateful for every note of it.”
